The Laboratory of Physics of Materials (L2PM) is attached to the establishment of 8 mai 1945 Guelma, its research activities are in the field of fundamental sciences. Its mission is the development and characterization of materials as well as the calculation of their properties.

The research topics to be implemented are as follows: · Development and characterization of thin-film materials · Study of the properties elastics of semiconductor thin-film. · Development and properties of metallic nanoparticles applied to catalysis. · Calculation of physical properties of solids.
